Challenger is an excellent all round hop with good alpha and aroma properties, specifically Citrus, Floral, Spice, Cedar and Green Tea.
They are a dual-purpose variety that are noted for its pleasant floral and citrus character, well-suited for classic British ales and lagers, but has also been considered a bittering hop for many styles.
